| 520 | _aCet article s’intéresse au Dossier Patient Informatisé (DPI), module cœur du système d’information de santé (SIH), afin de comprendre comment les affordances de l’outil technologique émergent et peuvent évoluer pour répondre aux besoins des utilisateurs. Les données de l’étude de cas sont collectées auprès des agents du changement dans un CHU suivant la théorie enracinée puis codées. Nos résultats analysent les choix de conception du DPI (sa structure) afin de décrire les potentialités offertes par ces choix de conception (affordances) et l’usage réel fait de ses potentialités par les utilisateurs (actualisations des affordances). Notre contribution à la littérature sur les affordances consiste à distinguer trois types de structure au sein de l’outil (issue de facteurs de conception techniques, légaux ou organisationnels). La structure permet une nouvelle compréhension de l’évolution des affordances et de leur actualisation. D’un point de vue managérial, ces contributions permettent à l’équipe projet de mieux analyser ses interventions sur la structure de l’outil faisant évoluer les potentialités offertes aux utilisateurs. | ||
| 520 | _aThis article looks at the Electronic Health Record (EHR), a core module of the healthcare information system (HIS), to understand how the affordances of the technological tool emerge and can evolve to meet user needs. The case study data is collected from change agents in a university hospital using grounded theory and then coded. Our results analyze the design choices made for the EHR (its structure) to describe the potentialities offered by these design choices (affordances) and the actual use made of these potentialities by users (affordance actualizations). Our contribution to the literature on affordances distinguishes three types of structure within the tool (resulting from technical, legal or organizational design factors). The structure provides a new understanding of how affordances evolve and are updated. From a managerial point of view, these contributions enable the project team to better analyze its interventions on the tool’s structure, leading to changes in the potentialities offered to users. | ||
