520			_aRésuméD.W. Winnicott s’est formé à travers de longues analyses thérapeutique et didactique. Si elles ont amené à la levée in extremis d’un symptôme menaçant sa vie ainsi qu’à sa découverte de l’objet transitionnel, le récit de ses années de formation nous montre aussi leurs butées. Winnicott ne s’est jamais départi d’une certaine idéalisation de la mère, ni de son inhibition face au savoir constitué du Freudisme, préférant au travail d’une critique fondatrice ses élucubrations personnelles.
520			_aWinnicott’s formation passed through long years of therapeutic analysis and didactic training which, ultimately, led to the lifting in extremis of a serious life threatening symptom and to the discovery of the transitional object. Nevertheless, the narrative of these years of formation and cure also evidences their drawback. Indeed, Winnicott never parted from a certain idealization of the mother nor from his inhibition in view of the Freudian theory, preferring his own personal elaboration to a critical but fertile approach.
