520			_aThis article looks at how we teach critical thinking to future social workers in Quebec and in this way to think their social intervention by themselves. To accomplish this objective, critical thinking is first explained from the point of view of social work. Then, a few critical perspectives as taught in this discipline are identified. The article concludes with a discussion about the development of critical thinking as a foundation for this disciplinary field.
