Leur intérêt est de situer les pratiques participatives volontaires ou suscitées, dans « l’histoire des sociétés où elles ont pris naissance ». Car elles ne renvoient pas aux mêmes conditions de développement. Les pratiques solidaires africaines, par exemple, ne forment pas un projet politique comme en Amérique latine. Tout en désacralisant la notion de participation (prise entre le mimétisme des administrations publiques, et de nouvelles dominations de classes), MEISTER réaffirme sa confiance en l’initiative individuelle, et en diverses formes du leadership.

Their interest is to place the voluntary or attracted participative practices, in “the story of the societies where they originated”, because they do not send back to the same conditions of development. The African united practices for example, do not form a project political as in Latin America. While destroying the sacred aura of the notion of participation (taken between the mimicry of the public administrations, and the new dominions of classes), MEISTER reaffirms its trust in the individual initiative, and in the diverse forms of the leadership.

La participación para el desarrollo de Albert MEISTEREste articulo propone una relectura geo-política de los trabajos de Albert MEISTER sobre La participacion para el desarrollo. El interés de esos trabajos es el de situar las practicas participativas voluntarias o suscitadas en la “historia de las sociedades en las que nacieron”. Estas no reenvían a las mismas condiciones de desarrollo. Las practicas africanas, por ejemplo, no forman un proyecto político como en América Latina. Desacralizando la noción de participación (encerrada entre el mimetismo de las administraciones públicas y de nuevas dominaciones de clase), MEISTER reafirma su confianza en la iniciativa individual y en diversas formas de liderazgo.
