520			_aCet essai se propose de contribuer à l’appel lancé par Philippe Eynaud, Clément Feger et Corinne Vercher-Chaptal (2024), dans leur article introductif de ce numéro spécial, de considérer les « angles morts » de la recherche contemporaine sur les communs. Nous mobilisons les approches critiques en management afin de mettre en lumière la face sombre des communs, les communs négatifs (Mies & Bennholdt-Thomsen, 2001 ; Monnin, 2021), qui dans le contexte actuel de crises socio-écologiques et d’injustices prolifèrent (Tsing, 2015b). Cette critique prometteuse – et à travers elle, cet essai – constitue ainsi une invite à politiser les communs négatifs comme constitutifs du capitalisme moderne.
520			_aThis essay is a response to Philippe Eynaud, Clément Feger and Corinne Vercher-Chaptal’s (2024) invitation in their opening article of this special issue to examine the “blind spots” in current research on the commons. We use critical perspectives to unveil the harmful aspects of the commons, their dark side, known as negative commons (Mies & Bennholdt-Thomsen, 2001; Monnin, 2021), which are increasing in the midst of contemporary socio-ecological crises and injustices (Tsing, 2015b). This insightful critique – and, by extension, this essay – offers an opportunity to politicize negative common within modern capitalism.
