Le manuscrit de Ferrare, Biblioteca Ariostea, II 66, n’est que partiellement autographié et conserve une note de l’auteur concernant sa traduction d’Appien. Dans la même ville italienne, l’œuvre a été traduite en langue vulgaire par Carlo da San Giorgio, appelé « Polismagna », dont un autographe permet de définir son travail à la cour de Borso d’Este en tant que traducteur et non pas miniaturiste. | ||
