520 | _aThe current health crisis is leading to a rethinking of the relationship between science, politics, and citizens, which has been highlighted in a troubled context. This article examines how the boundaries between these worlds have shifted, both in reference to certain fundamental theoretical frameworks and to everyday ways of thinking in contemporary society. The role and behavior of certain categories of actors directly challenged by the pandemic context, namely scientists, politicians, public managers, journalists, and citizens, are analyzed through the lens of their contributions but also of their sudden disruptions. This reflection allows us to identify cross-cutting phenomena of confusion, revelations, denigration, and profound transformations, which open up avenues likely to help steer a future paradigm shift that could be anchored in renewed values of trust and solidarity. | ||
