520			_aIn the field of photography, there exist very few images of the little-known phenomenon whereby the same sanctuaries are visited by followers of different religions. Most of the existing photographs feature images of mono-confessional usage and do not show the interactions between religions that sometimes emerge in the interstices in holy places, in particular during pilgrimages. Drawing on case studies from the Euro-Mediterranean region, this article explores the practical, methodological, and epistemological implications of the use of photography in the anthropology of religion. How should this shared religiosity be photographed in practical terms? How do images contribute to the process of expanding knowledge within anthropology? What are the advantages, and the limits? Based on the three experiences of an anthropologist of religion, a photographer, and a curator, this article focuses on the images taken by the anthropologist-photographer directly, using three methods and timeframes: a tool for ‘real-time’ capture (in the field); images as a primary source (analysis); and the diffusion and reception by the public (publicisation).
520			_a‪Dans le champ de la photographie, rares sont les images représentant le phénomène peu connu de la fréquentation des mêmes sanctuaires par des fidèles de religions différentes. La plupart des clichés existants donnent à voir des usages mono-confessionnels et non pas les interactions interreligieuses qui se produisent parfois dans les interstices du sacré, notamment lors de pèlerinages. A partir d’études de cas dans le monde euro-méditerranéen, cet article explore des enjeux pratiques, méthodologiques et épistémologiques de l’usage de la photographie en anthropologie religieuse. Comment photographier concrètement ces formes de religiosités partagées ? Comment l‪ ‪’‪ ‪image contribue-t-elle au processus d’élaboration de la connaissance anthropologique ? Quels en sont les atouts et les limites ? Basé sur une triple expérience d’anthropologue du religieux, de photographe et de commissaire d’expositions, cet article se concentre sur les images directement prises par l’anthropologue-photographe, selon trois modalités et temporalités : un outil de capture du ‪ ‪« réel »‪ ‪ (le terrain), les images comme sources de première main (l’analyse), la diffusion et la réception du public (la publicisation).‪
