520			_aCet article apporte un éclairage sur l’introduction de la psychanalyse dans le secteur de la protection de l’enfance en danger. Partant d’enjeux ravivés par les réformes récentes de ce secteur d’activité, l’auteure retrace le processus de mutations cognitives et institutionnelles qui s’est déroulé dans l’après-guerre afin de percevoir ce qu’il en reste aujourd’hui. Le focus est placé sur les actions de Myriam David (1917-2004) dans les années 1950/1960. Sociologiquement, les initiatives de cette femme médecin-psychanalyste sont typiques de celles des « entrepreneurs de cause » qui parviennent à maîtriser simultanément la clinique, la production des connaissances, la formation professionnelle, les transformations institutionnelles et l’interprétation du droit. Avec un réseau de collaborateurs, Myriam David a en effet contribué à transformer la protection des enfants, notamment les pratiques de placement, en recentrant l’attention sur les besoins psychiques de l’enfant dans un contexte ou le familial, comme paradigme d’action publique, s’oppose à l’individualisme civiliste. L’analyse sociohistorique est étayée de données issues d’archives privées et publiques, elle s’appuie également sur les témoignages de Myriam David et de personnes impliquées dans le ré-agencement de l’aide sociale en direction des enfants et des familles en région parisienne.
520			_aThis article sheds light on the introduction of psychoanalysis in the field of child protection. Starting with issues revived by recent reforms in this field, the author traces the process of cognitive and institutional changes that took place in the postwar period to highlight what still remains today. The focus is placed on Myriam David’s (1917-2004) actions in the years 1950/1960. Sociologically speaking, this doctor-psychoanalyst’s initiatives are typical of those of a «cause defender» who manages to simultaneously master a clinical approach, the production of knowledge, professional training, institutional change and the interpretation of law. With a network of co-workers, Myriam David truly participated in transforming child protection, notably placement practices, by focusing attention on the child’s psychological needs in a context where the family as a paradigm of public action is opposed to civilian individualism. The socio-historical analysis is supported by data from public and private archives. It also relies on the testimonies of Myriam David and people involved in the reform of social welfare for children and families in the Paris area…
