That being said, highlighting CCO’s 20 years is an occasion to reflect on the way research in that tradition has structured itself. In this text, the author questions several assumptions CCO research has been making, including its crystallisation around schools of thought based on authors such as Giddens and Luhmann. He also invites CCO researchers to revise their conception of the organization itself, of the distinction between communication and information, and of the place of objects in their theorising, so that they may, in the end, redeploy their critical reach. | ||
