Mais l’analyse de l’argumentation des casseurs, leur évaluation du risque et le sens qu’ils donnent à leur comportement interdit toute corrélation mécanique entre casse et carrière délinquante.
520			_aThe rioters phenomenon is quite recent and its specificity is often unsatisfactorily addressed. It can be envisioned as a substitute to a lack of sociability, to a failure in the integration process, that playfully enables the actors to express their identity in a negative way. Yet the analysis of the rioters’ argumentation, their valuation of the risk and the meaning they grant to their behavior forbids any automatic correlation between rioting and delinquent career.

Sin embargo, el análisis de la argumentación de los vándalos, sus evaluaciones del riesgo y el sentido que dan a su comportamiento no permiten que se establezca ningún tipo de correlación mecánica entre vandalismo y carrera delincuente.
520			_aDas Phänomen der sog. casseurs (meist jüngere Personen, die mutwillig Sachbeschädignugen vornehmen) ist vergleichsweise neu; seine Eigenheiten werden jedoch oft nur ungenügend wahrgenommen. Es kann als Integrationsersatz oder als oberflächlicher Versuch, Gemeinschaft zu erleben, verstanden werden, mit dem die Akteure in spielerischer Art und aus der Negativität heraus ihre Identität auszudrücken. Analysiert man, auf welche Weise die casseurs argumentieren, wie sie das Risiko einschätzen und welchen Sinn sie ihrem Verhalten geben, so wird deutlich, dass jede mechanistische Beziehung zwischen Delinquenzkarriere und Sachbeschädigung abzuweisen ist.
