The Mediappro research carried out in Europe and Quebec in 2006 shows that the 12-18 age group have often ambiguous representations and still poor skills in the uses of new media. The survey highlights how the gap between school and home practices reinforces effective but fragmented appropriations quite far from the significant potential of these media.
