520 _aThe ancient settlement of Oisseau-le-Petit (Oxellum), on the northern fringes of the territory of the Aulerci Cenomani, is mainly known for the excavations carried out in the 1980s. Although it has only been studied intermittently since then, depending on developer-led archaeology investigations, in 2011 it was the subject of an in-depth approach (aerial prospection, documentary research, geophysical prospection, and archaeological sondage) as part of an archaeological research project evaluation. This article reviews the results of this research, which sought to shed light on the morphology and organization of this space, its chronology, and its dynamics, in particular examining an insula and a public entertainment building and its surroundings.
