520 _aFaced with libertarianism so-called “of the Right,” a libertarianism of the Left has recently been developed. Advocates of the Left position share many theoretical choices with those of the Right, in particular the central place given to complete self-ownership. Analysis of the ownership that individuals have over themselves reveals a diversity of libertarian concepts of social justice and their economic implications, both in terms of global justice and in how the issue of organ transplants, one of the emblematic problems of local justice, is treated.
