520 _aCreativity is a key issue for territories as it lies at the heart of systems (clusters, business clusters, and local production systems) that aim to promote co-operation between economic actors located in the same area. This analysis of “creative territories” is based on a study of the book industry that we conducted for the city of Paris. Creativity is understood as a form of “mediation” and through the possible local shapes of economic networks into which it may materialize.
