520 _aJean-Luc Mélenchon developed his political communication using social networks (the blog L’ère du peuple, the YouTube channel “Revue de la semaine,” and the Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts he uses daily). Passionate about history and French literature, the leader of “La France insoumise” is part of the French tradition of politicians as men of letters. The purpose of this article is to continue the reflection on the relationship between politics and literature in the context of Web 2.0. I will show how Jean-Luc Mélenchon and his communications advisors are appropriating social networks to create a space for political and poetic creation.
