520 _aSarcoidosis is a systemic granulomatous disease of unknown etiology. Involvement of the lacrimal gland during sarcoidosis is a rare manifestation, most often occurring during multisystem involvement.Observation: We present the case of a 58-year-old woman who presented with a palpebral swelling of the right eye that had been evolving for four months, without any other associated signs. The diagnosis of a localized sarcoidosis dacryoadenitis was retained in view of the demonstration of a granulomatous lesion by histology and an elevated conversion enzyme in the absence of arguments for another granulomatous pathology. The patient was put on corticosteroid therapy with a good clinical evolution. Conclusion: Our case is exceptional because of the rare and inaugural location of the disease. Nevertheless, it is imperative to look for associated systemic manifestations, which may be more serious.
