520 _aThe manifestations of fright are most often centered around intense and sudden terror immobilizing the subject in a present literally stuck to the object from which originates the affect. Nevertheless, beyond this shocking break in, fright often appears as the resurgence of a traumatic and silent loss of an object in the past early childhood. The immobilization acquires then a new dimension of defense against the void. Through clinical narratives the author wants to show this experience may lead to a perlaboration allowing, within the transferential setting, the emergence of till then buried representations.
