520 _aRather than retracing the history of UCLy once again, the university’s 150th anniversary provides an opportunity to highlight several prominent teachers, researchers and students who were part of the institution between the late nineteenth century and the Second Vatican Council. In the fields of theology, philosophy, law and sociology, as well as in the experimental sciences, one can trace both shifts and continuities: a humanist outlook on society, a desire to reconcile faith and scientific research, and an interest in dialogue between disciplines._x000D_ Disciplines: HISTORY, THEOLOGY, PATRISTICS, LAW, PHILOSOPHY, SOCIAL SCIENCE
