| 520 | _aIn this interview conducted by historian Daniel Moulinet, biologist Jean-Marie Exbrayat looks back on his academic career and scientific training. He also traces the developments of Catholic Faculty of Science, where he served as dean between 1999 and 2005. Initially focused on biology, chemistry, and geology, the research gradually diversified to include epistemological questions that promote interdisciplinarity. The growth of collaborations with French public universities and foreign institutions has increased UCLy’s visibility, as did the creation of schools such as ESTBB, IFTLM, and ESQESE, all affiliated with the science center. Philosophical and spiritual issues were also given considerable attention. Disciplines: HISTORY OF SCIENCE, BIOLOGY | ||
