520 _aThe article analyzes a potential shift in the Latin American imaginary in Brazil, traditionally shaped by telenovelas. Series such as Narcos, although produced in the USA, are generating a growing interest in Latino identity. This narrative shift could reinforce the presence of a re-imagined Latin America among Brazilian audiences.
