| 520 | _aToday, the term “recognition” is as much an integral part of political debates as it is of philosophical and sociological theories. Indeed, social and political problems inevitably seem to be analyzed through the prism of recognition theories. Although approached in distinct contexts and beyond conceptual differences, this article aims to put Hannah Arendt’s concept of recognition into perspective with the main contemporary thinkers of the same concept. It aims to highlight theoretical convergences relating to recognition, with an emphasis on the dimension of identity and political action, opening up, in the end, to a reflection on citizen education today. | ||

En effet, les problèmes sociaux et politiques semblent immanquablement être analysés via le prisme des théories de la reconnaissance.
