While this strategy helps diversify the local economy, attract talent, and strengthen territorial attractiveness, it also presents limits: an incomplete social integration, a real estate pressure, and an unclear tax framework. By using the theoretical framework of territorial social responsibility (TSR), the study reveals that hosting digital nomads can support territorial innovation, provided that social, environmental, and participatory issues are fully integrated into local policies. These initial results open the door to broader reflections on the impacts of digital nomadism on sustainable development dynamics of tourist destinations. | ||
