This reading sheds light on his thought regarding error and life, and supports an analysis of the foundations of the scientistic Weltanschauung, understood as a mortiferous worldview where the ideal of mastery leads to the erasure of the subject, the devaluation of desire, and the deployment of a rationality governed by the death drive.
