AI is also used by financial supervisory authorities to assist them in their oversight duties. However, supervising AI in finance raises specific challenges related to the characteristics of this technology: its rapid evolution, the opacity and complexity of the underlying models, as well as its dynamic nature and potential for increasing autonomy.
