| 520 | _aThis paper focuses on talent management (TM) through a narrative synthesis of the literature from the last twenty years. It explores the question of whether the field of TM has followed a logical progression and a process of increasing coherence. We thus highlight six historical contexts and frameworks of logical and evolutionary development in our analysis of TM and underline its journey from adolescence to maturity, through a theoretically grounded and coherent progression that is rigorous and pertinent. We propose four research perspectives aimed at broadening the historical focus, fostering more balanced and contemporary approaches to TM. | ||
