Pourtant, la conception de l’homme que propose Feuerbach s’appuie sur une théorie élaborée de la représentation, portant à la fois sur sa genèse et sur ses effets. Concernant spécialement la sensation, la religion et la philosophie, cette théorie s’efforce de définir leur articulation et esquisse ainsi un matérialisme original.
