520			_aLa conception avicennienne de la politique est indissociable de sa doctrine de la providence divine et de sa prophétologie. Ce travail examine les implications de cette doctrine à travers l’étude du dernier livre de la Métaphysique du Šifā’ d’Avicenne, qui est le texte le plus complet du philosophe sur l’ordonnancement de la cité, sur ses lois et sur la nature du nomothète. Nous nous attachons à répondre à la question suivante : puisque la providence divine s’étend jusqu’au confins de la société des hommes par la médiation du prophète et de la loi révélée, y a-t-il encore une place pour une science qui, telle la politique, cherche à poser les fondements d’un ordre proprement humain ?
520			_aAvicenna’s conception of politics is inseparable from his doctrine of divine providence and prophecy. This work examines the implications of this doctrine through the study of the last book of Avicenna's The Metaphysics of al-Shifa’, the philosopher's most complete text on the ordering of the city, its laws, and the nature of the legislator. This study purports to answer the following question: since divine providence extends to the limits of the sensible world, including human society, through the mediation of the prophet and the revealed law, is there still room for a science such as politics, which seeks to lay the foundations of a properly human order?
