Il a du mal à accepter le groupe, tout en souhaitant être son leader en le dominant par son délire. Le groupe provoque chez lui des réactions émotionnelles très fortes impliquant son corps, jusqu’à la souffrance. Elle prend la forme de signifiants formels : sensation de chaleur, mal au cœur, et finalement impression d’avoir des branchies, ce qui se concrétise en un glaire à cracher à l’extérieur. L’incorporation du groupe conduit à une véritable expulsion partielle. Par là même, un nouveau pacte redéfinit les relations dans le groupe, les rendant plus égalitaires, et permettant ainsi l’expression de propos plus personnels.
