520 _aThis article focuses on the mechanisms of food territorialization in rural areas in France. Its empirical approach draws upon a cross-cutting analysis of two territorial development projects in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The analytical framework is based on temporal and territorial approaches and relies on semi-structured interviews. The results stress territorial development processes based on the food question by highlighting the territorial resources activated and/or created within these processes, the place of the different actors and the role of specific actors, and the integrative dimension of food in the processes of territorial development.
