| 520 | _aRésuméL’historiographie du monde rural catalan a été marquée par l’œuvre de Pierre Vilar (1906-2003). Après avoir défini la place qu’il a tenue et décrit le contexte dans lequel il est intervenu, cet article dresse un bilan des recherches menées depuis une quarantaine d’années autour des grands thèmes qui en assurent sa postérité historiographique : tensions et conflits du monde rural, poids de la seigneurie après la Sentence arbitrale de Guadalupe (1486), résistance paysanne (révoltes, banditisme endémique) ; différenciation interne entre propriétaires fonciers, exploitants agricoles, et salariés, qui s’accompagne notamment d’une spécialisation viticole. | ||
| 520 | _aThe historiography of the Catalonian rural world has been marked by the work of Pierre Vilar (1906-2003). After defining the place of that historian and after showing in which context he played his role, that paper takes stock of the research carried out for about forty years into some great themes : tensions and conflicts of the rural world, questioning themselves about the weight of the seigniory after the arbitral sentence of Guadalupe (1486), the farmers’resistance (revolts or endemic organized robbery), internal differentiation between farm « owners » and farmers depending on them, whether they were tenant farmers (or share-croppers), tenants or farm wage-owners. That differentiation within peasantry was accompanied by an agricultural specialization (firstly vine). | ||
