Cette analyse est entreprise par la responsable des Archives Beazley dans le cadre du projet de numérisation du Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum et de sa mise en ligne sur INTERNET. Pottier créa le CVA en 1919. Ce fut le premier programme de recherche de l’Union académique internationale. La vision de Pottier qui englobait l’ensemble de la céramique antique peut désormais se concrétiser à travers la recherche en collaboration et l’outil informatique.
520			_aThis article is dedicated to the memory of Edmond Pottier, whose approach to the study of ancient ceramics benefits from re-examination in historical context. It has been undertaken by the Beazley Archivist as part of the project to digitise Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum for the WEB. Pottier created CVA in 1919. It was the first research project of the Union académique internationale. His vision of including all ancient pottery can now be realised through collaborative scholarship and WEB technology.
