520			_aIl n’existe pas, à proprement parler, de philosophie de l’enfance, et pourtant l’enfance en philosophie se retrouve abondamment sous les plumes des philosophes, en particulier sous un usage métaphorique. Il s’agira dans cet article d’interroger les présupposés qui structurent ces métaphores pour mieux saisir la conception de l’enfance empirique développée en creux, mais aussi la charge politique qui les sous-tend. Nous pourrons à partir de là formuler quelques propositions pour un bon usage de la métaphore en philosophie politique.
520			_aThere is, strictly speaking, no philosophy of childhood, and yet childhood in philosophy is everywhere, especially metaphorically. In this article, we will examine the assumptions that structure these metaphors in order to better understand the underlying empirical conception of childhood, and consider the political dimension that underpins these models. We will then attempt to draw propositions for the proper use of the metaphor in political philosophy.
