Il correspond à un stade de la civilité, qu’on pourrait rapprocher des stades d’organisation de la libido. Ainsi un moment de l’histoire psychique de l’homme de cour s’apparente à cette instance de la personnalité individuelle que Freud nomme l’idéal du moi.
