Aussi bref soit-il, ce mot est ici chargé de sens. Pour marquer le changement, un « mais » de transition souligne notre finitude. Le « mais » oppositionnel dit la tentation de s’arc-bouter contre notre condition. L’emporte cependant un autre « mais », confiant, qui nous fait entrer dans la dynamique vers laquelle pointe l’étymologie. Ce dernier « mais », aussi doux soit-il, relève du défi. | ||
