520			_aLa ville fait l’objet de récentes publications s’inscrivant en sciences sociales et principalement centrées sur deux thématiques. La première concerne l’entrée du capitalisme financier dans la sphère urbaine et la seconde l’impératif de modifier les pratiques urbanistiques pour faire face au dérèglement climatique. En combinant ces deux types d’ouvrages illustrant le double défi des sociétés contemporaines, l’article propose de dépasser la réflexion en silo. Il s’interroge sur la capacité des chercheurs à produire une culture scientifique partagée pour assurer la transition écologique et solidaire.
520			_aThe city has been the subject of recent publications in social sciences, mainly focusing on two themes. The first concerns the entry of financial capitalism into the urban sphere, and the second the imperative to change urban planning practices in order to tackle climate change. After combining these two types of analyses illustrating the dual challenge facing our contemporary societies, the purpose of the article is to move beyond silo thinking. It questions the ability of researchers to produce a shared scientific culture to ensure an ecological and solidarity-based transition.
