Elle peut être aussi un symptôme qui nous renvoie aux premières relations entre l’enfant et sa mère. Elle fait appel à la notion de handling développée par Winnicott. Ces personnes ont manqué de l’attention nécessaire pour investir leur propre personnalité et leur vie. Elles protègent leur sentiment de vide intérieur par un halo de fatigue qui leur sert de holding ou de moi-peau. Le transfert sert d’étayage à ce défaut de narcissisation et l’image permet la représentation et le déploiement de ces sensations.

It’s related to to the idea of « Handling » as developed by Winnicott. These people missed the attention necessary for the process of embodying one’s personality and destiny. They contend with their feeling of internal vacuum by a cloud of fatigue which acts as a « holding » or « self skin. The transfer helps to build an adjustment to this deficiency in narcissisation, and the image enables the representation and the perception of these feelings.
