While this has helped put homelessness on the political agenda, it has also spread certain (mis)representations. Homelessness becomes a particular focus of media attention in winter. The media are one of the actors of the political agenda but they are in interaction with others and are neither a dominant nor unique actor. They tend to stress the spectacular dimension of homelessness. However, this tendency can be perceived not only among journalists but among those with responsibilities for homelessness, especially associations. | ||
