520			_aRésuméPour le futur musée de l’Immigration, l’enjeu est d’inscrire l’histoire de l’immigration dans une histoire commune fédérant les mémoires des Français dans une mémoire partagée. Pour autant, il n’existe pas une histoire de l’immigration mais des histoires. Comment le musée peut-il traiter ces passés douloureux et leurs pluralités ? L’étude d’une analyse réalisée en amont du projet permettra de cerner la construction politique publique de la mémoire.
520			_aThe aim at the heart of the project of the museum of immigration is to situate the history of immigration in a common history federating the memories of the French around a shared memory. But, how does one transform a deeply heterogeneous history into a common history, since there isn’t a single history of immigration but, on the contrary, several histories ? This represents the ambiguity of the museum’s project. This article attempts to study the means the museum uses to express these painful pasts and their pluralities in order to understand the constructive dynamic and the limits of a public policy concerned with memory.
520			_aZusammenfassungZiel des geplanten Museums für Einwanderung ist es, die Geschichte der Immigration als gemeinsame Geschichte darzustellen und so die Erinnerung der Franzosen mit der Erinnerung der Immigranten zu verbinden. Wie aber kann eine an sich bereits heterogene Geschichte, nämlich die der Immigration, in eine gemeinsame Geschichte überführt werden ? Genau dies ist der Zwiespalt, den das Museumsprojekt zu lösen beabsichtigt. Wie genau die Verantwortlichen gedenken den schmerzhaften Vergangenheiten und vor allem ihrer Vielfältigkeit Ausdruck zu verleihen will dieser Artikel an Hand einer Studie darstellen, die vor der Eröffnung des Museums gemacht wurde. Am Beispiel dieser Studie sollen Chancen und Grenzen der Bildung einer kollektiven Erinnerung durch stattliche Politik aufgezeigt werden.
