520			_aRésuméL’article s’interroge sur la figure du « héros national » telle qu’elle est actuellement forgée par les représentants de l’État rwandais. Que recouvre-t-elle ? Permet-elle de construire des ponts entre des communautés brutalement déchirées par le génocide ? L’analyse de la portée et des limites de cette figure permet de revenir sur la commémoration du dixième anniversaire du génocide. Elle questionne ensuite son épaisseur sociale. Suscite-t-elle un écho auprès de la population ? Derrière cette question, c’est la notion même de « mémoire nationale » qui est mise en cause.
520			_aThe purpose of this article is to question the notion of « national hero » officially emphasized in Rwanda. What is its meaning ? Does it allow to build bridges between communities that are most often separated since the genocide ? The analysis of the strengths and the limitations of this politics of memory is divided into two parts. First, it focuses on the commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the genocide and on the evolution of the notion of « national hero ». Second, the article examines the articulation between this official emphasis and the reactions of the population. Beyond this issue, the very notion of national memory is called into question.
520			_aZusammenfassungDer Artikel beschäftigt sich mit der Figur des « Nationalhelden » in der Form wie er derzeit von den Regierungsvertretern Ruandas propagiert wird. Hinterfragt wird was genau diese Figur verkörpert und ob es ihr gelingen kann, zwischen vom Genozid zerrissenen Volksgemeinschaften Brücken zu bauen. Die Auseinandersetzung mit der möglichen Bedeutung Figur und ihren Grenzen ist gespalten : zum einen führt die Debatte zurück zu den Gedenkfeiern anlässlich des zehnten Jahrestages des Genozids, zum andern fragt sie nach dem möglichen sozialen Zusammenhalt und der Reaktion der Bevölkerung auf die Figur des Helden. Darüber hinaus setzt der Artikel sich mit dem Begriff « Nationales Erinnerung » auseinander.
