| 520 | _aRésumé Cette recherche se concentre sur quatre films qui permettent l’étude des paysages du catastrophisme climatique dans le cinéma grand public : Soleil vert de Richard Fleischer, Le jour d’après de Roland Emmerich, Une vérité qui dérange de Davis Guggenheim et Un jour sur terre d’Alastair Fothergill et Mark Linfield. Ces films appartiennent à des genres différents : film d’anticipation, film catastrophe, conférence filmée et genre documentaire. Il s’agit d’étudier l’évolution du traitement des paysages dans ces films depuis les années 1970, et de comprendre le passage de l’angoisse d’une terre surpeuplée à la vision d’une planète sanctuarisée et vide d’êtres humains. | ||

Theses movies however belong to several types : science fiction, disaster, lecture, and documentary. To study how landscapes are represented in those movies shows a new mythology emerging on global warming, based on a specific representation of urban and rural landscapes. It shows how the fear of an overcrowded earth has become an empty planet, a no man’s land. | ||
