520			_aL’article aborde les relations entre anthropologie et littérature en Italie. Il montre d’abord comment l’intérêt pour la littérature « cultivée » a remplacé progressivement celui pour la littérature « populaire ». Le livre The Broken Fountain de Thomas Belmonte et les travaux menés à l’université de Salerne ont contribué ensuite à renouveler les débats du côté des anthropologues. De leur côté, les spécialistes italiens de la littérature, influencés notamment par les travaux de Bakhtine, ont aussi intégré certaines réflexions des anthropologues.
520			_aPast, Present and Future of Literary Anthropology in ItalyThe article deals with the relations between anthropology and literature in Italy. It shows how “high” literature has progressively replaced “popular” literature in the anthropologists’ preoccupations. The book The Broken Fountain by Thomas Belmonte and the researches at the University of Salerne have then contributed to renovate this field of studies on the anthropological side. On the literary side, Bahtin’s influence has led the specialists of literature to use some of the anthropologists’ reflections.

Er zeigt in einem ersten Schritt auf, wie die kultivierte Literatur schrittweise durch die populäre Literatur ersetzt wurde. Das Buch « The Broken Fountain » von Thomas Belmonte und die an der Universität Salerno geführten Arbeiten haben schließlich dazu beigetragen, dass die Debatte auf Seite der Anthropologen erneuert wurde. Die italienischen Literaturwissenschaftler haben ihrerseits, insbesondere durch die Arbeiten von Bakhtine, einige Analysen von Anthropologen in ihre Arbeit einbezogen.
