Au contraire, « l’axiome fondamental de la non-analyse est que le Réel de l’Inconscient et de l’être est forclos à tout discours et que c’est justement cet être forclos qui détermine un discours et une pratique non analytiques ». La non-analyse n’est pas le retour à des préjugés philosophiques mais une « théorie unifiée de la philosophie et d’un savoir » qui peut prendre une couleur psychanalytique.
