The first part of the paper will be focused on local risks resulting from companies, (both inner and outer) environments. In a second part, it will discuss how foresight networks help companies challenge frontiers between these different environments to anticipe or create strategic irreversibilities related to changing territories and areas. Finally a case study will show how public utilities are using such an approach to face both global and local risks.
