Our study sheds new light on public values by using sociological analysis of conventions that makes it possible to explore the various administrative worlds and their associated public values. The empirical study based on a survey of public managers in France and South Korea shows the prevalence of the civic world but also the importance of the values of the bureaucratic industrial world and those of the tradition-based domestic world. The values of the project world are important in France, but the values of the market world are less important in both countries. | ||
