| 520 | _aL’objectif de cet article est de tester le pouvoir prédictif de la gouvernance des pays sur l’apparition de la vulnérabilité économique et financière. Nous utilisons une approche de signal non paramétrique considérant l’effet des variables macroéconomiques, financières et sociales sur la probabilité d’apparition de la vulnérabilité économique et financière. Les résultats mettent en évidence la pertinence des mécanismes de gouvernance des pays pour prédire les périodes de vulnérabilité financière. Il semble que l’indice d’efficacité du gouvernement et l’indice de stabilité politique et d’absence de violence ont un pouvoir prédictif plus élevé que les autres variables de gouvernance du pays. L’indice de contrôle de la corruption a le pouvoir prédictif le plus faible. | ||
| 520 | _aThe aim of this paper is to test the predictive power of country governance for the occurrence of economic and financial vulnerability. We use a non-parametric signal approach considering the effect of macroeconomic, financial and social variables on the probability of the occurrence of economic and financial vulnerability. The results highlight the relevance of country governance mechanisms in predicting periods of financial vulnerability. It appears that the government efficiency index and the political stability and absence of violence index have higher predictive power than the other country governance variables. The corruption control index has the lowest predictive power. | ||
