520			_aEste artículo busca reconstruir en lo que consideramos sus tres momentos principales el ideal renacentista y moderno de una República literaria. Conforme a esos momentos, el trabajo se divide en tres secciones. La primera estará dedicada a la República literaria tal como la concibieron los humanistas del Renacimiento y la temprana Modernidad. La segunda, buscará comprender el peso que tuvieron los periódicos literarios en la transformación de aquella República. En la tercera, finalmente, trataremos de reconstruir la República literaria en la España de mediados del siglo XVIII, la España del Padre Feijoo, quien asume buena parte del pasado erudito europeo buscando recrearlo en la medida de lo posible conforme a las circunstancias locales.
520			_aThis paper seeks to reconstruct in what we consider its three main moments the Renaissance and modern ideal of a Republic of Letters. According to those moments, the work is divided into three sections. The first will be dedicated to the Republic of Letters as conceived by the humanists of the Renaissance and early Modernity. The second will seek to understand the weight that literary newspapers had in the transformation of that Republic. In the third, finally, we will try to reconstruct the Republic of Letters in Spain in the mid-eighteenth century, the Spain of Father Feijoo, who assumes a large part of the European scholarly past seeking to recreate it as much as possible according to local circumstances.
