The pioneers of this history have provided information about students – both girls and boys – in the institutional context of the Ancien Régime (16-17th centuries), gleaned from administrative sources (small schools, colleges, special education institutions). However, an overview of this work offers the opportunity to reread the sources identified in order to fine-tune the portrait of these students in their daily lives, in familiar surroundings, in their behaviour. The aim is to consider students as stakeholders in their own right. | ||
