520 | _aHow have social science specialists envisaged the therapeutic treatment of young offenders? Therapeutic approaches to juvenile delinquency are many and varied. They have been the subject of numerous studies in law, psychiatry, psychology, psychoanalysis, medicine, etc., all linked to differing representations of the juvenile offender and of the different theoretical approaches that have been developed to explain delinquency. From a treatment focused on repression we moved firstly to morality, and then toward rehabilitation, today backed up by various psychotherapeutic techniques. The therapeutic management of young delinquents is characterized by its dynamic nature. | ||
