Dans cette paroisse enrichie par le travail des paysans et des ouvriers proto-industriels, des biens fonciers, de taille modeste, circulent sous le coup des successions et des achats. Nombreux sont les villageois à participer à ce remuement perpétuel. Pourtant, les rythmes de rotation sont atones et les structures foncières paraissent figées. En effet, le poids écrasant des propriétés mainmortables cantonne le marché foncier à un périmètre très exigu qui ne fut élargi qu’avec la mise en vente des biens nationaux pendant la Révolution française. | ||

The villagers are numerous to participate in exchanges of real properties. Yet, the turnover is weak and the land structures seem immobile. The crushing weight of properties submitted to the mainmorte reduces the land market within narrow limits which were extended with the sales of church properties during the French Revolution. | ||
